Taste Testing🥘

 Throughout this year Mostly On Tuesdays we have been doing this thing that we call Mahi Tahi Working Together As One . It is when we get together with the 3 Senior Class Kakapo, Te Kahu, and My Class Tui. So how we do this it is by the teachers getting us into groups and we do activities. and also when we do these activities the teacher looks out for our 4Cs Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, Creativity. So today we did a taste testing challenge. So the teachers put us into groups, then we got a piece of cloth for a blindfold and then we had to choose a Taster and a Guesser so the teachers gave us a type of food and the taster tasted and the taster had to describe what is was and the Guesser had to try and Guess what type of food it was. For (Eg) some of the food were Marmite, Icing Sugar And Golden Syrup. So I can´t wait for  the next Mahi Tahi we do.

Today  we were look at Google Earth and Writing up landmarks like I check out Big Ben I tried  doing The White House But all it came up with was a real White painted  House and we look up Iceland ,Rio, So much more. Also In our Class we have been learning land. North America That is the Place I would like to Visit

First off, Because of all their sports they do, like Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Racquetball, Rodeo, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Stock Car Racing, Basketball, and Surfing 

Also I would like to see a real life Jaguar

I would  to taste their amazing Foods like Fajita, Jerky, Cobb Salad, Sourdough, Tater Tots, Key lime Pie, and CHEESEBURGERS and also I would like to taste their best dishes (E.g ) Jerky, Pot Roast, and More

Lastly I would like to check out their building Style to New Zealand style

So you use all your information you have got then put it altogether  and start writing your Information Report

My Biography about Sir Edmund Hillary ⛰

Sir Edmund Hillary was born in Tuakua south of Auckland on the 20th of July 1919

Edmund had 1 brother Rex Hillary  and 1 sister June Hillary 

In 1969 Sir Edmund Percival Hillary start at a local school Grammar school in Auckland. people were amazed of Edmund active imagination about adventures and climbing. 

Then in his 30s he was being a beekeeper at Auckland. Then when he got to the age of 33 he choose to set a task and it was to climb Mt Everest

his parents were Percy Hillary and Gertrude Clarke.

through all his Achievement in life his biggest was his climb of Mt Everest but on his travel he also built 27 School 2 Hospitals 12 Clinics and an airfield and several bridges over raging rivers at the the Himalayan

and he is the man well known for climbing Mt Everest and being on the 5 dollar Note.
 

$ 200 Dollar design 💸

I choose the Dame Valerie Adams for my 200 dollar Note because she is a New Zealand Medallist she was born in Rotorua  New Zealand birth name Valerie Kasantia Adams.

I choose a New Zealand hawk because they are Strong and Majestic bird like Valerie Adams.

I did Rotorua geysers because it was her home town area and I choose black for the colour of my $200 note

A biography it is a piece of writing that you do about someone else like our class did a biography about Sir Edmund Hillary

To write a successful biography you need to include information about the persons  Early Life, What is so important about them, Where do they live in the World, Some Fun facts about them, and there Character Traits.

 Tips:
