How to make a Origami Jumping frog🐸

LI: to write an effective procedure to explain how to make an origami Jumping frog I did it by watching a YouTube video and made me one and then made a slide show of how to make a Jumping frog it was challenging to say how to do it I could improve my explaining of it

My Refugee Animation

 This week/ and a little bit of last week our challenge was to make an animation or a comic about refugees. Well I chose animation and we were making animation and comics because we have been reading the book REFUGEE by Alan Gratz. We have been doing summaries about the story while our teacher reads to us. Last week and this week we have been doing lots of tasks about the story and the last one was this one. This is my animation about the lives of the refugees in this book.

Staying safe in Covid 19 Pandemic

LI:To create a resource to remind our peers how to keep themselves and others safe during the Covid 19 pandemic

I enjoyed doing the backgrounds and writing all the reminders to help others and peers.

Myths and legends learning, Hautupatu and the Bird- Woman🐦

Through these weeks my class have been learning about 3 Maori Myths and Legends and today I am sharing my one called the Hautupatu and the Bird- Woman Kurangaituku.

I learnt how Kurangaituku was called Bird- Woman Because she was half Bird and half woman and she held Hautupatu as prisoner and when Kurangaituku was hunting Hautupatu ran away from her and he was running for days but then when Bird- Woman saw he was gone she hunted him down and then once when he was having a rest he saw Bird- woman and started running away again and when it got late bird- woman was still hunting him down so he needed somewhere to hide so then Hautupatu said a magic charm so the rock would open & let him in and that is my blog about Maori Myths and Legends and you should check out some Maori Myths & Legends for yourself? and check out some of my others blog posts?
