need to show lots of respect

this is about a story that Mr Gunn told us it was about a man and his father die. so he wanted to show  respect to his father and make a waka out of the best tree can find . so he went and looked for a good tree to make the waka . but did n' t show respect because he did n't ask some one if he could  cut the tree down . so animal keep fixing the tree
